PlayPal Is Changing to GameRoom: What We Know So Far

PlayPal is changing its name to GameRoom.

The PlayPal team confirmed the change to ScatterGamesPH. The transition is already visible online: PlayPal’s Facebook page has changed to GameRoom and streamers who previously promoted PlayPal are now using the GameRoom name.

PlayPal is moving to GameRoom

The change has pretty much already happened. Together with the new social media and streamer branding, the new GameRoom website at gameroom.ph is live.

The old playpal77.ph website is not loading and has almost disappeared from Google.

What happens to existing PlayPal accounts?

The existing PlayPal accounts and balances have been automatically transferred to GameRoom.

Our account has been migrated and is working as it should; however, no migration goes 100% smoothly, and we can imagine that some people might experience errors.

We would recommend all players to check their email (including the Spam folder) for instructions or contact customer support before creating another account, re-doing KYC, and setting everything up from scratch.

We’re checking GameRoom’s PAGCOR status

As we mentioned in our review, PlayPal77 has been associated with Large-Hub Mind Recreation Incorporated in PAGCOR records.

We haven’t found public PAGCOR information connecting the new GameRoom name and gameroom.ph domain with the same operator. We’re checking this with GameRoom and will update this article when we receive a response or find clear public confirmation.

We’ll update this article as more information becomes available.
