Every month we at Scatter Games PH publish fresh data about the most popular games in our free scatter demo library. But since two months back, we’ve been wondering what’s the good old Color Game doing in a top 10 full of scatter?!

Super Ace, Wild Bounty Showdown, and Piñata Wins are always among the Pinoy favorites, but suddenly the Super Color Game by Fa Chai popped up there too, which was a little surprising. With hundreds of free demos of scatter games on our website, a digital version of the old perya game is going strong alongside some of the biggest slot names.

Then it got us thinking. Tongits tournaments, digital perya games, a Color Game featuring Manny Pacquiao, and even a Gloc-9 collaboration. Apparently, the games many Filipinos grew up with are making quite a bit of a comeback.

From Perya Games to Pacquiao and Gloc-9

Many casinos offer traditional Filipino games, but one company that’s putting more attention on local games is DigiPlus (the operator behind BingoPlus and GameZone).

DigiPlus has been bringing familiar perya attractions to mobile phones, including Color Game, Pa Pula Pa Puti, and Pinoy Drop Ball, since 2023. It also offers livestream bingo, another game Filipinos love and know so well.

In March 2026, DigiPlus took another step in this direction and announced a lineup of nine Manny Pacquiao-themed games. Among them were Pacman’s Color Game, Super Ace Pacquiao, and Wild Bounty Pacquiao. It’s an interesting mix of familiar games and one of the Philippines’ biggest sporting names. Some titles are based on international-style scatter games, while others take inspiration from local games.

GameZone is doing something different with Tongits. Instead of simply offering the card game online, it has been organizing tournaments where players can compete against each other. The GameZone Tour launched in January 2026 and includes other traditional card games such as, for example, Pusoy.

And the company has been bringing Filipino music into its promotions, too. In October GameZone teamed up with rapper Gloc-9 for Tara G!, a song released as part of its campaign celebrating Filipino friendship and card-game culture.

Between Pacquiao-themed games, Tongits tournaments and OPM collaborations, it’s clear that these companies want their gaming brands to feel familiar to Filipino players.

Why Are Casinos Giving Filipino Games More Attention?

The reason might be simpler than it sounds. Because all Filipinos already know these games.

Tongits and Pusoy are familiar from card games with friends and relatives. Color Game brings back memories of the perya. Bingo has been popular in the Philippines for years. Casino companies don’t have to introduce these games from scratch. People already understand the basic idea, even if the online versions work a little differently.

That doesn’t mean of course that local games are replacing scatter. Our rankings certainly don’t show that. International-style slots still dominate the most-played demos on Scatter Games PH, and we haven’t seen evidence of a nationwide shift away from them.

What we are seeing is more effort from gaming companies to promote Filipino-style games through mobile versions, tournaments and celebrity partnerships.

As for Super Color Game, we’ll keep watching our monthly rankings to see whether it stays among our visitors’ favorites.
